Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to be Lutheran?

No.

What is "Lutheran"?

A Lutheran is a Christian person who believes the truths of God’s Word as written in the Holy Bible. In doing this we confess the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To be a confessional Lutheran is to be one who honours the Word of God and believes the confessional writings of the Lutheran Church as summarized in Martin Luther's Small Catechism. Hand-in-hand with our commitment to pure teaching and confession of the faith, is, and always must be, our equally strong commitment to reaching out boldly with the Gospel and speaking God’s truth to the world.
